- Under this scheme, a one-time financial grant of ₹25,000/- is provided to economically stressed families at the time of their adult daughters’ marriages. | Note: | - The scheme’s financial benefit will be paid by direct bank transfer to a bank account held singly in the name of the applicant. | - The sanctioned grant is transferred through IFMS (Integrated Financial Management System) to the bank account of the applicant. The fund transfer must be executed at least five days before the date of the proposed marriage.

What details are required from my bank book photocopy?
A self-attested photocopy of a page of your bank book, which provides complete details of your name, account number, bank address, IFS (Indian Financial System) code and other details, is required.
Where can I obtain the application form for this scheme?
The application form is available free of cost from the Office of the Block Development Officer in rural areas, the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer in Municipal areas, and the Office of the Commissioner in Corporation areas.
How will I know if my application is sanctioned or rejected?
The Sanctioning Officer (BDO/SDO/Commissioner) will sanction applications that have been successfully verified and reject those that have a negative report or are ineligible. You will be informed if your application is rejected.
What is the role of the Enquiry Officer in rural areas?
In rural areas, an Extension Officer of the BDO (Block Development Officer) will be the Enquiry Officer and will conduct the enquiry jointly with the Executive Assistant/Secretary of the respective Gram Panchayat.
