Yes. The Social Welfare Department verifies whether the widow is receiving pension and other eligibility conditions.

Yes. The total monthly family income from all sources must be up to ₹4,000/- or the family should belong to the BPL category.
Can widows living outside Uttarakhand apply?
No. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
