In the event of death, permanent disability, or an accident during duty under adverse conditions, financial assistance is provided as follows: | - Death during communal riots: ₹2.00 lakh | - Death during special high-risk duty: ₹1.50 lakh | - Death during normal duty: ₹1.00 lakh | - Permanent disability: Half of the ex-gratia amount admissible for the higher category. | - Serious injury: One-fourth of the ex-gratia amount admissible.
