What you get

Monetary Assistance for Medical Treatment: | - Up to ₹1,00,000/- for treatment of critical diseases (e.g., cancer, bypass surgery, kidney transplant, brain stroke, etc.). | - In special cases, the committee may approve up to ₹2,00,000/-. | Monthly Financial Assistance: | - ₹1,000 to ₹2,500 per month for a maximum of one year to unemployed journalists or those without income due to illness or old age.

Who can apply

Suffering from incurable diseases such as tuberculosis, cancer, leprosy, or requiring treatment for serious conditions like valve replacement, transplantation, angioplasty, bypass surgery, or kidney-related ailments.; Unemployed due to ill health and without any other source of income.; Aged 60 years or above and having no other source of income.; Eligible on any other humanitarian grounds as recommended by the designated Committee.
