The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from the Scheduled Caste category for research at the Ph.D. level. The selected students receive a monthly fellowship grant to support their research in specific subjects.

The student will have to repay the amount with 10% interest, along with legal action if necessary.

Applications are reviewed by a Scrutiny Committee, and final selection is made by a State-Level Approval Committee.
