What you get

- Organizing a tour for a group of about 50 participants every year to four memorial places: Janam Bhoomi (Mhow, Madhya Pradesh), Deeksha Bhoomi (Nagpur, Maharashtra), Mahaparinivaran Bhoomi (Delhi), and Chaitya Bhoomi (Mumbai). | - The total amount of expenses are fully borne by the Adi Dravidar Welfare and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department. | - The participants are entitled to free boarding and lodging, including all meals. | - No charges shall be levied from the participants in connection with the conduct of the tour. | - All expenses like entrance fee, admission fee, etc., could be borne by the Department. | Conditions | - The Department should not bear the personal expenses incurred by the participants. | - The participant must abide by the rules/instructions laid down during the tour. | - The participant must repay the expenses, with interest in case of any misrepresentation or suppression of facts furnished. | - The participant must be well aware that they shall be stepped down anywhere during the tour in case of any discrepancy.

Who can apply

The applicant must be of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe community recognized by the Union territory of Puducherry.; The applicant must belong to this Union Territory by virtue of birth or continuous residence of not less than 5 years.; The applicant must not be less than 18 years old on the date of application.; The applicant must not be more than 50 years old on the date of application.; The applicant must be free from any contagious/communicable diseases.; Only one person per family can participate in a year.; The applicant must not have previously participated in the tour programme in his/her lifetime.; The applicant must not be a person who is availing assistance under prolonged disease.; The total annual income of the family of the applicant should not exceed ₹2,00,000/-.; Applicants shall be selected by seniority in age on a first come first served basis.; The number of participants for each region shall be decided by the UT of Puducherry from time to time based on the ratio of the applications received: _Puducherry - 32; Karaikal - 12; Yanam - 4; Mahe - 2 (If no application is received, may be considered for Puducherry region)._
