The PRABHUDDHA OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP scheme selects around 250 undergraduate and 150 postgraduate and PhD students from the SC/ST communities, providing them with financial assistance. The initiative aims to support deserving students in pursuing their academic aspirations.

Who can apply

Residency: The applicant should be a permanent resident of Karnataka state in India.; Age Limit: The age limit to apply for this scheme is 21 years for undergraduate courses, and 35 years for postgraduate and doctoral programs.; Qualifying Marks: Candidates applying for the scholarship must have scored at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in their qualifying degree exams for postgraduate and doctoral courses, and 80% marks or equivalent grade in qualifying exams (PUC/12th class) for undergraduate courses.; Standardized Test Scores: The candidates should have cleared standardized tests like GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS exams with minimum score marks before applying for the scholarship.; Admission: Applicants should have secured admission into a full-time degree program at an overseas university/college.; Documents: The candidates must have the necessary documents like Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Latest Income Certificate, Last 2 years IT Returns, Degree/Master Degree Convocation Certificate, Degree/Master Degree All Semester Marks Card, Offer letter from the university obtained, Copy of the Passport, and Tuition fee and maintenance fee as sent by the university.; Field of Study: The scholarship covers various fields of study, including Engineering and Management, Pure Sciences and applied sciences, Agriculture sciences and medicine, International Commerce, Economics, Accounting Finance, Humanities, Social science, fine arts, and law.

Scholarship will be given in the following ways: | Students whose family annual income is below Rs 8 lakh will get a 100% scholarship. | Students whose family annual income is between Rs 8 to 15 lakh will get a 50% scholarship. Student whose family annual income is above Rs 15 lakh will get a 33% scholarship
