What are the benefits of the scheme?
Under the scheme, the full course fee will be reimbursed for registered construction workers and their children.
How is the course fee reimbursed under the scheme?
If the course duration is less than one year, all fees will be reimbursed. For courses exceeding one year, all fees will be reimbursed annually.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
Eligible beneficiaries include construction workers registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker's Welfare Board and any two of their children.
What is the age limit for children to avail of the scheme?
Children of construction workers must be under 30 years old to receive assistance. However, there is no age limit for children with disabilities.
What types of courses are eligible for assistance under the scheme?
Assistance is admissible for courses offered by Skill University or institutions affiliated with it.
Is there a limit on the number of children supported by the scheme?
Each beneficiary can receive assistance for up to two children. Separate forms must be filled for each child.
