Who can apply

The artist must be a Goan, i.e., born and brought up in Goa.; The artist must be recognized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Goa.; The income of the family of the artist (from all sources) must not exceed ₹2,00,000/- per annum.; The artist must not be less than 50 years in age. (The Government may relax the age criteria for deserving cases under special circumstances.); The ward must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution.; The ward must be pursuing Postgraduate, Degree, or Professional courses.; The ward may be enrolled in educational institutions within the state or outside the state.
