Who can apply

Construction workers between 18 to 60 years of age will be eligible.; The construction worker should be registered as a beneficiary under Section 12 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Service Conditions) Act, 1996.; Death caused by suicide or consumption of drugs, substances or by committing a crime or death caused by physical violence committed with intent in violation of law and death due to riots, assistance amount was not provided.; The benefit of the scheme will be given only on the death of the registered worker and not on the death of the family member.; Beneficiaries benefited under the Financial Assistance and Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme for construction workers suffering from silicosis run by the Board will not be eligible for this scheme, because a separate scheme is run for them.
