Bihar Disability Pension Scheme

The objective of this scheme is to provide social security to the persons with disabilities (PwDs) of the poor family of the society by providing them financial assistance. Under this scheme, a monthly pension of ₹400/- is given to PwDs of 40% or more, regardless of their income or age group.

- Under this scheme, eligible differently-abled persons will receive a monthly pension of ₹400/-. | Note: The pension amount is being paid to the beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) process. In this process, the pension amount is transferred directly into the beneficiaries' accounts via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) at the state level, based on the account numbers provided by the beneficiaries.
